Levitical Priesthood

I received the following from the Lord on December 29, 2016:

My first question was regarding the Levites. The Lord said that there is both a physical and spiritual significance to the prophesy that the Levites would, before His coming, “again offer up a sacrifice in righteousness.” He said that the priests would offer the old sacrifice again at the temple in Jerusalem before He comes; this is the physical. He said that the Levitical Priesthood is a transitional priesthood that involves the Gift of the Holy Ghost. The sons of Levi are the male equivalent of the daughters of Zion. These are those who are sent by the priests to teach the people and bring them to Christ. The Priests, and in the last days also, the priestesses, are the Levites, by priesthood, to prepare those to stand in the presence of the Lord. They have received the Gift of the Holy Ghost, but not yet the Second Comforter. This transitional priesthood is for those to prepare themselves to be in the presence of God.

It goes from teacher, to priest, to High Priest, and then to be in the similitude of the Only Begotten and His Helpmeet. The Levitical Priesthood in the last days is a symbolic name for the preparatory priesthood before standing in the Lord’s presence.

Teacher – “sons of Levi / daughters of Zion” – Preparatory Levitical

Priest – Levitical Priesthood (As the sons of Aaron.)

High Priest – Melchizedek – 144k, fourth estate

The Lord said that after the earth is cleansed and made terrestrial, there can be no more blood sacrifice, for in that realm all flesh is quickened. But we shall learn to sacrifice ourselves as the Priests of God covenant to condescend to sacrifice all things that they may glorify their Father who is in Heaven. (4th and 5th Estates)

Could it also be lined up this way:
    Levitical Priesthood – Teacher
    Aaronic Priesthood – Priest
    Melchizedek Priesthood – “Elder”
    Patriarchal Priesthood – High Priest

This pattern seems to fall in line with the temple.

  2. Yes, it could, except Melchizedek is High Priest. I wrote it out the way I did to emphasize how it relates to the scripture. Today we call it Aaronic. The names are not as important as what they represent.

    Teacher, Priest, High Priest, Godhood

  3. Patriarchal Priesthood is not the same as when we refer to the ancient prophets as the Patriarchs.

What does this mean for us Gentiles (as it says we are in the Book of Mormon)? Who is a Daughter of Zion – Jews? Levite women? Who are Levites? How does this information apply to us?

  5. If the Church of Christ is the bride, then the sons and daughters are those who will inherit the blessings. The phrase daughters of Zion is usually used to signify those who are awakened amongst the Church. (Moroni 10) But, it can also be used directly as a reference to the sisters with such a calling. The sisters will be equally yoked with the brothers in bringing forth Zion, at first in a Levitical role, and then Melchizedek as the sealing power is bestowed and the High Priests (and Priestesses) are sealed up to perform these labors.

So, just to be clear… the Teachers (but not yet Priests) do not necessarily have the Holy Ghost? So, if I regularly feel the burning of the spirit does it give any indication if I’m a Teacher or Priest or any measure of priesthood?

  7. Yes, they have the Holy Spirit, but not yet the Gift of the Holy Ghost.

How can we know the difference between a visitation from Christ and when we have received our actual second comforter?

  9. When you have your Second Comforter you will feel the marks in His hands, feet, and side. He will bless you and you will know who you are. Everyone’s experience is a little different, but it should be tangible. Often before the experience you will have visions or dreams of seeing Him.

    To line up various thoughts:
Teacher / sons of Levi > baptism of water = 2nd estate
Priest or Priestess / sons of Aaron > baptism of fire = 3rd estate
High Priest or Priestess / sons of Moses > second comforter and sealing power = 4th estate
Patriarch / king or queen / god or goddess = 5th estate

Here’s a question: How do 4th, 5th, 6th estate beings manage to find their spouses after condescension? Presumably, they were joined in the 2nd estate. Are they both sent to similar times? Do they ever not stay true? No worries, if you can’t answer, I’ve been wondering about that lately.

Can you answer the lesser part of the spouse question about whether eternal couples first meet or marry in the 2nd estate (at least one of their second estates)? And if all 4th-6th estate beings were previously married to each other in a lesser estate at least once?

  15. They meet up at all different estates, but finalized by the fifth usually.

What priesthood is required to enter the Lord’s presence? How is it obtained, i.e. Angels? You already possess it?

  17. To enter His presence simply requires the baptism of fire and an invitation. The priesthood and ordination you receive will determine the kind of work you will do. By faith we can be serve in His name, but all authority is given of Heaven. The degree of authority we have is the priesthood we possess.

  18. The invitation is the Holy Spirit of Promise and to have your Calling and Election. The Second Comforter is to make your Calling and Election Sure.

  19. I fully concur with your view as it was given me also. Truth is a wonderful thing and is being distributed to many in a completely new way; yea even to one like me. May God bless this blog.

  20. i have a question: the priesthood
from the Joseph Smith Translation of Genesis, is that the fulness of the priesthood? if so, how do you get it?

  21. The fullness of priesthood is acquired as we learn to do the works of the Father.

PR- what is the difference between :
    – SISTER in the Gospel of Christ?
    – DAUGHTER in Zion?
    -MOTHER in Zion?

  23. When you phrase it like that it simply references a role as sister, daughter, or Mother living in Zion. If it is used metaphorically, it may represent a generation of the House of Israel.
