I know it sounds different, but you may want to try this. This is how you do it:
First, ask the Lord if you may receive some revelation for yourself and if it is OK to write it down. (Follow the method in the “Pure Revelation” post.)
Second, sit down and prayerfully write the thoughts that come to your mind. Don’t doubt yourself. Imagine the Lord speaking to you as you write. You should feel the Spirit. (This is how Joseph often did it.)
Third, when finished, ask the Lord if you have received true revelation. If the answer is “yes,” congratulations. If it is “no,” ask what you need to do differently.
Consider keeping a “blessings journal.” The revelations you will receive will astound you!
